Fan Favorite Movies 2022

The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once may lead Oscar nominations with 11, and Avatar: The Way of Water may be tearing up the box office both domestically and worldwide, but neither of them was able to top the international sensation RRR. The action epic from India initially got off to a slow start, with Everything Everywhere dominating the early polls, but by the second week of voting, it had taken the No. 1 spot, which it never relinquished. Everything Everywhere and The Way of Water did ultimately crack the top five, along with The Batman and Top Gun: Maverick, but fans of writer-director S.S. Rajamouli’s film turned up in droves, demonstrating why it might have benefited the Academy to show the film a bit more love than tossing it a single nomination for Best Original Song.

The order below reflects the number of total votes cast for each film by users in a poll that ran on RT from January 12 to January 27.
