It’s an all-out B-movie star brawl in the latest edition of Vs., as Nic Cage and John Travolta come together for the ultimate face off! The two actors’ choice to appear in John Woo’s Certified Fresh face-swapping action classic Face/Off feels prescient when you look at the trajectory of their careers: Both have been the biggest movie stars on the planet at one stage; both tore through the ’90s in blockbuster action flicks that people still love to this day; both have had various celebrated comebacks; and both have danced with the Rottenest end of the Tomatometer on multiple occasions. But that was then, and this is now – a time when the words “Cage” and “Travolta” on a film poster may not exactly have you refreshing your awards-season picks. Who is the true king of the direct-to-streaming domain? We’re pitting Cage and Travolta against each other by Tomatometer, box office, versatility, and more to see who is our favorite over-the-top movie icon.

As ever, if you don’t agree with our choice of winner let us have it in the comments.

Nicolas Cage’s latest film, Color Out of Space, is available now digitally. John Travolta’s latest film, The Fanatic, is also available on digital.
