Along with the release of The Batman in theaters in October 2021, an HBO Max spin-off series Gotham P.D. will focus on Batman’s year one and follow corrupt cops in the city’s police department. No word yet on whether the film’s Bruce Wayne/Batman (Robert Pattinson) or James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) will appear in the series.
