"Alias" actor Bradley Cooper (who was pretty darn funny in "Wedding Crashers") has signed on to play the lead in Ryuhei Kitamura‘s "Midnight Train," a horror flick based on Clive Barker‘s short (and nasty) story "Midnight Meat Train."
From Variety: "Bradley Cooper will topline "Midnight Train," based on Clive Barker’s tale about murderous mayhem on the Gotham subway.
Lakeshore and Lionsgate are producing the pic, with Lionsgate on board to distribute. Lensing is set to begin this winter.
"Train" is based on Barker’s short story "Midnight Meat Train," published in his popular "Books of Blood" series. It centers on a photographer on the trail of a serial killer who operates in the subway system."

And if you like horror and you have yet to read Barker’s "Books of Blood," then you’re nuts.
