Kenneth Oppel’s children’s book "Airborn" will become a big screen feature, Variety reports. Josh Oppenheimer and Thomas Donnelly have been tapped to write the script for Universal Pictures-based Sommers Co. Taking place in a world with flying ships, "Airborn" tells the story of a young sailor and a rich girl in a race with pirates to discover a cache of hidden treasure. Oppenheimer and Donnelly also wrote the forthcoming "Sahara," starring Matthew McConaughey.
