The Oscars are right around the corner, so it’s a good time to review how the Best Picture nominees have made out this awards season. We can’t tell you who’s going to take home the Academy’s ultimate prize, but we’ve got a handy graphic that lays out which movies won the most hardware from the various guilds and critics’ groups.

  • Jeff Friedlander

I don’t care which one wins so long as its not “The Revenant”. The Revenant was a beautifully filmed movie with great acting and story that completely fell apart for me in the last 20 minutes. (spoiler alert) When you consider that the whole story is loosely based on true events as relayed by a “sole survivor,” the ending feels a bit self-aggrandizing, corny and unrealistic. A wholly unbelievable and movie-like finale that completely detached me from the prior gritty realism of the film. Such a disappointment.
