According to Showbizdata, "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" grossed an out-of-this-galaxy $83.8M after just two days of release. "Sith" took in a record-breaking $50M on Thursday and $33.8M on Friday.
In comparison, "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones" did $54.5M and "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" did $40.8M after two days of release.
The $33.8M take by "Sith" on Friday is the third best of all time for a Friday and eighth best of all time for a single day.
