No sooner had Bryan Singer officially signed on to direct the sequel to "Superman Returns" before the title rumors began a’swirling. Oh, and now there’s word that Singer might want to check out that "Wolverine" screenplay. Hmmm.

From ComingSoon.net: "According to The Honolulu Advertiser, Singer acknowledged that he has also been approached to direct the fourth "X-Men" movie, but said he wouldn’t have time to take on another large-scale project before the next "Superman" gets underway. He is interested, however, in seeing the script for the "X-Men" spinoff Wolverine."

And from IGN Movies: "According to IESB.net, the working title for the follow-up to "Superman Returns" will be "Superman: The Man of Steel." The site says Warner Bros. had no comment. Singer advised fans at this year’s Comic-Con that the sequel will be the "Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan" to the first film’s "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," meaning more action and less talk."

So here we go again, basically.
