With actors ranging from Tom Cruise to Jude Law rumored to be in talks for a part in the big screen adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ graphic novel Watchmen, speculations of who’s going to be casted is almost as big an event as the movie surely will be. Now Moviehole.net reports that a casting call for four secondary characters has been put forth.

Those four are Sally Jupiter, Moloch/Edgar Jacobi, Big Figure, and Body Builder.

Sally is the original Silk Spectre and mother of Laurie Juspeczyk, the current Silk Spectre.

Moloch/Edgar Jacobi is a former supervillain in his mid-late 60s who is dying of cancer.

Big Figure, in spite of his name, is a midget supervillain sporting silver hair and a big cigar. He has an intense hatred for the superhero Rorschach.

Body Builder is a 5’10”-6’0″ tall male body builder who’s in his physical prime. According to the casting call, this actor is to be only used for visual effects purposes. IGN Movies‘ Stax surmises that this sounds like a visual reference for a CG-enhanced Dr. Manhattan.

Watchmen is to be directed by Zack Snyder (300) for a 2008 release. Other than the director, no actors have been confirmed for the movie.
