The voice stars of the upcoming animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sat down with Rotten Tomatoes’ Grae Drake ahead of their Comic-Con panel to talk inspirations, mentors (Gary Busey – really!), and how the new film pushes the Spider-Man mythology forward. For Shameik Moore, who many will remember from his star turn in the Certified Fresh Dope, now is the right time for Miles Morales to take the leap to the big screen, while Jake Johnson says his tired, slightly washed-up Peter Parker will be a revelation for audiences who thought they knew the character.
