Picture Gallery of the Week:

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

We didn’t do a lot of promotion for Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs;
the movie kinda snuck up on everyone. Frankly, the movie looked extremely
middle-of-the-road from the trailers. But it’s currently drawing up
surprisingly strong reviews, citing its infectious manic energy and clever
dialogue and art design. Some critics even go so far as to call it better
than Up.

Where the Wild Things

October 16 needs to come quicker. It’s on that day we’ll finally see
whether Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are has weathered all of
its controversies and setbacks, not to mention the glorious, hype-building
trailers. And just released are no shortage of character posters, revealing
up and close and personal the wild things, each glorious, frightening, and
real. View the poster.

Video of the Week:

The Invention of Lying clips

A high-concept comedy to the max, The Invention of Lying is set in a
world where everyone can only tell the truth, save for one man (played by
Ricky Gervais). These clips are exactly what we should get: a huge
supporting cast of famous comedians and blunt dialogue that Gervais in
extremely awkward situations (his forte).
