It was recently announced that Darren Aronofsky‘s hotly-anticipated "The Fountain," which stars Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, would be the closing film at Austin’s late-September Fantastic Fest. And now JoBlo pops up with the very first look at the flick’s bizarre new one-sheet.

Have a look at the poster right here.

The IMDb plot synopsis goes like this: "Spanning over one thousand years, and three parallel stories, The Fountain is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world."

Neat.

Co-starring Ellen Burstyn, Cliff Curtis, and Sean Patrick Thomas, "The Fountain" hits theaters on October 13th.
