Steven Spielberg has said several very flattering things about the work Joe Johnston did on "Jurassic Park 3," but recent chit-chat seems to indicate that S.S. might be interested in stepping back into the director’s chair (if and when) "JP4" starts moving forward.
From IGN FilmForce: "Johnston reportedly remains Spielberg’s pick to direct JPIV, according to Sky News and CinemaBlend.com. Should Johnston bow out, however, Spielberg is said to be willing to come back to helm the fourth movie.
If Spielberg is indeed willing to return to the dino-franchise then what does that mean for Indiana Jones IV? Both JPIV and Indy IV have a tentative 2008 release date."
