This Saturday, in one of the most buzz-about fandom crossover events of the year, Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams will guest-star on BBC America’s ninth season of Doctor Who. Here’s the Doctor himself, Peter Capaldi, along with co-star Jenna Coleman, introducing the upcoming “The Girl Who Died.”

“The Girl Who Died” is the first in a two-part story arc. See the trailer for this week’s episode, which includes a scruffy Williams saying to a very intimidating warrior, “I am a Viking who will crush you on the field of battle.” How Arya-esque!

And here’s an extended preview of Saturday night’s episode:

BBC America also shared a short interview clip with Williams, who discusses what happens when fandoms collide!

Doctor Who’s “The Girl Who Died” airs this Saturday, October 17, at 9 p.m. on BBC America. Will you be watching?
