WAFCA Awards: Spotlight Is Named Best Film of 2015

The Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association announced this morning the honorees for 2015. Mad Max: Fury Road received the most awards, including Best Director  for George Miller, but it was Spotlight who took home the award for Best Film. Check out the full list of winners below.

Best Original Screenplay: Pete Docter, Meg LeFauve and Josh Cooley (Original Story by Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen), Inside Out (2015) 98%

Best Animated Feature: Inside Out (2015) 98%

Best Documentary: Amy (2015) 96%

Best Foreign Language Film: Son of Saul (2015) 96%
