RT Recommends: Our Favorite Movies This Week
If you were to ask any member of our staff for a recommendation on what to watch, chances are we’d have a slew of titles to share. We’re exposed to a lot of movies here at Rotten Tomatoes, and we’re not mad about it. That’s why we’ve put together this weekly guide of films, staff picks in alphabetical order, that we recommend you check out every week.
The Mandalorian & Grogu hits theaters this weekend, and there’s no better time than now to binge all the Star Wars movies ahead of its release. When the 1977 classic Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope hit screens, critics and audiences were over the moon. “The special effects pushed the boundaries of what anyone thought possible in 1977,” writes TM-approved critic Sean Axmaker. “Yet audiences were so swept up in the imagery, the adventure, and the momentum of the journey that they never stopped to marvel at the technological achievement.”
The movie, and all the primary Star Wars films (including the Skywalker Saga and standalone stories), are currently available on Fandango at Home.
