It’s a project that almost died and got resurrected more than once, but so far this "3:10 to Yuma" remake looks like it was worth the trouble.
Russell Crowe is the villain. Christian Bale is the hero. James Mangold is the director. Here is the trailer.
Now, I know I’m a soft touch when it comes to westerns, but that’s a pretty impressive trailer, no? Yeah, it gives too much away (like most trailers do), but since the movie’s based on a fairly well-known 1957 film (not to mention the original Elmore Leonard story), I guess they’re not too worried about spoilers on this one.
Flick looks solid to me. Opens on October 5th.
