Trailer Bulletin: Carlito's Way: Rise to Power

There’s a "Carlito’s Way" prequel on the way, and you can check out the trailer for the movie right here.

"Carlito’s Way: Rise to Power" stars Jay Hernandez in the title role, and his supporting cast includes guys like Luis Guzman, Mario Van Peebles, Giancarlo Esposito, and Sean Combs.

Not surprisingly, the direct-to-video prequel focuses on a Carlito Brigante who’s a bit younger than the Al Pacino character we know and love, and the movie will deal with Brigante’s "rise to power" in the mean streets of New York.

Adapted by the novels by Edwin Torres and written / directed by original "Carlito" producer Michael Scott Bregman, "Rise to Power" hits video shelves on September 27th.
