Perhaps it was just a moment of inspired movie promotion, but when Samuel L. Jackson appeared on "The Daily Show" last night to talk "Snakes On A Plane," he hinted at the inevitable: "Snakes On A Plane 2"!
Well, hint is a strong word. And if you really don’t want to hear a spoiler from the film, don’t read this sentence: Sam Jackson does not die in "SOAP," he told Stewart. The reason? "Sequel!"
"Get these Motha******* snakes off this Motha******* plane — AGAIN!"
Elsewhere in the segment, Jackson revealed that, like film critics across the nation denied press screenings, he has not yet seen the completed film. No matter; he’s obviously expecting New Line’s blogosphere-enhanced marketing push to pay off in a big opening this week, and is looking forward to wrangling a bigger paycheck for the next "SOAP":
"I did not sign a sequel contract, so I can negotiate my ass off," he told an excited Stewart as they cut to commercial.
