The folks working on the new-fangled "Superman" adaptation have been pretty busy with the casting these days, and The Hollywood Reporter brings us the latest news: indie doll and fine actress Parker Posey ("Dazed and Confused") has recently signed on to play the villainous Kitty Koslowski, and anyone who saw "Blade: Trinity" knows that Ms. Posey adores creating the vampy vixens. Parker joins an expansive cast that already includes Kate Bosworth (as Lois Lane), Hugh Laurie (Perry White), Sam Huntington (Jimmy Olsen), Kevin Spacey (Lex Luthor), Eva Marie Saint (Martha Kent) and newcomer Brandon Routh and the Man of Steel. WB’s new "Superman" comes from several of the filmmakers behind the "X-Men" films (director Bryan Singer, screenwriters Dan Harris & Michael Dougherty), so we comic book geeks feel pretty confident…so far.
