Paramount Classics and MTV Films will join forces for the first time to bring the psychological thriller "Beneath" to the big screen, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The story focuses on "Christy, whose beautiful older sister is disfigured in a brutal car accident, in which Christy was the driver. Haunted by visions of the accident, Christy returns home after years away only to find that her most disturbing visions are both real and predictive."
The screenplay was written by Dagen Merrill and Kevin Burke. First-timer Merrill will be in the director’s chair, and his cast will include folks like Nora Zehetner ("May," "Brick") and Matthew Settle ("U-571," "The In Crowd").
