In the new time-loop rom-com Palm Springs, Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti play two wedding guests who fall for each other over… and over… and over again. They flirt, fall in love, fight, fall in love again, fight some more, and die on repeat as they try to work out how to make this day from hell – on which they met their match made in heaven – come to an ultimate end. The movie was a hit at this January’s Sundance Film Festival – where it broke sales records with its acquisition by Hulu and NEON – and arrives on Hulu in time for summer laughs. Ahead of its release, Rotten Tomatoes correspondent Naz Perez caught up with Samberg and Milioti, as well as co-stars Camila Mendes and Meredith Hagner, to talk about what they would do if stuck in an infinite time loop (hint: pretty much everything), why audiences love this mind-bending narrative style, and the biggest ad-libbed laughs in the movie.

Palm Springs is available on Hulu from July 10, 2020.
