Actor Terrence Howard sat down with the MTV folks and announced that there will indeed be a sequel to "Hustle & Flow," which just goes to show that you can’t keep a good pimp down.
"’Hustle & Flow 2,’ we’re gonna do it," Howard revealed backstage at the recent Vibe Awards. The pale-eyed actor claimed the film will have the same cast and has already been written. He wouldn’t go into plot details, but said he couldn’t wait to get back into the character’s sweat-stained wife-beater and gold chains. "We start [filming] at the end of next year," he smiled. "It will be great.""
Released in July, Craig Brewer‘s "Hustle & Flow" earned some rather favorable comments from critics and moviegoers, and it pulled in just over $22 million at the box office. The DVD is set to hit shelves on January 10th.
