Madonna will play the transsexual Warhol superstar Candy Darling, according to Britain’s Sky News. Madonna is apparently so interested in the film, as yet untitled, that she said she would do it for free. Candy Darling starred in a series of Andy Warhol‘s experimental films, and was one of the figures who inspired Lou Reed’s hit song "Walk on the Wild Side."
