Variety reports that screenwriter Shane Salerno and producer John Davis have signed a deal with Fox to bring "Reckless" to the big screen. Described as a "Fatal Attraction" for a new generation, "Reckless" is about "a 30-ish married couple who start playing a dangerous game in an effort to spice up their flagging marriage."

Although it took Mr. Salerno almost five years to get his screenplay done and polished, the guy’s built up a colorful resumé ("Armageddon." "Shaft," "Alien vs. Predator") in the meantime, and he’s also done work on the upcoming "Ghost Rider" and "MEG."

The "Reckless" casting process is just about to get underway.
