The release date’s still a
ways off, but the first image of
Tom Cruise in
Valkyrie has already
made its way onto the interwebs.
Starring
Cruise as Col.
Claus von Stauffenberg and with direction by
Bryan Singer
from a
Christopher McQuarrie script,
Valkyrie follows
Stauffenberg as a turncoat within the Nazi empire. Shooting began today in
Germany, and this photo depicts Cruise with (presumably) the briefcase bomb
intended for Hitler.
Valkyrie will be out
August 8, 2008. But, for now, let us behold Nazi Tom with eye patch.
By the way, how many have
noticed IMDb currently listing Valkyrie as Rubicon?
