Variety brings us some good news for fans, friends and family members of director Jeff Balsmeyer. The filmmaker has only one film to his credit thus far (the Aussie comedy "Danny Deckchair"), but producer Denise DiNovi ("Edward Scissorhands") and Warner Bros. Pictures have tapped Jeff to direct "Maid of Dishonor." First-timer Cristi Limm wrote the screenplay, which Variety describes as a "romantic comedy in which a jilted bride must face her former fiancee as they are the maid of honor and best man at her sister’s wedding."
