Variety brings some interesting casting news: rocker-turned-actress Courtney Love ("Man on the Moon," "The People vs. Larry Flynt") has signed to play the title character in "Lovelace." The biopic based on the life of "Deep Throat" actress Linda Lovelace is being produced by Jason Blum ("Kicking and Screaming") from a screenplay by first-timer Merritt Johnson. The film "will trace Lovelace’s life from 17 until she died in 2002 at 53."
