Chris Tucker's Loss is Indy's Gain

Not too long ago we mentioned that Chris Tucker was about to make Jackie Chan, director Brett Ratner, and screenwriter Jeff Nathanson a whole lot richer by agreeing to star in "Rush Hour 3." But now Variety reports that Mr. Tucker has passed on a $20 million paycheck and said "No thanks" to a "Rush Hour 3."

This leaves Mr. Nathanson plenty of time to work on his screenplay for "Indiana Jones 4," a script that recently got a big thumbs-up from Steven Spielberg AND George Lucas. (Now the screenplay has to earn Harrison Ford‘s seal of approval.) Nathanson had previously done some screenwriting for Mr. Spielberg on "The Terminal" and "Catch Me If You Can," which kinda makes one wonder how the "Rush Hour" movies were written by the same guy!
