It’s a pretty slow news day, so why not share a few of the latest casting tidbits from a sequel ("Ocean’s Thirteen"), a remake ("Day of the Dead"), and a Stephen King adaptation ("1408")?

From ComingSoon.net: "Variety reports that David Paymer has joined the cast of "Ocean’s 13." The sequel, starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Ellen Barkin is filming in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

From Variety: "Mary McCormack ("Private Parts") has checked into Dimension Films’ Stephen King adaptation "1408," about a haunted hotel … John Cusack and Samuel L.
