87%

#11

Wait a minute. isn’t Love and Friendship at 99%?

  • Michael Ryan

Actually, if you discount the wannabees writing while hunched over their Apple Macintosh on the edge of the camp bed in their grannies basement where they live and look at Top Critics, it’s 97%, whereas Love and Friendship rates 96%.. In any event Summer doesn’t start until June 21st so not sure what the headline in RT is referring to.

    • FigaroPho

That’s the literal calendar summer. The summer movie season starts the first weekend in May and largely ends the second week of August.

    • Jason Bowman

Michael Ryan wears granny panties on his head.

  • MontyPythonFanatic2

Still says “Summer Movie Scorecard 2015” at the top. You may want to fix that.

  • kao_lee87

    Where’s Sing Street??

  • Jim222001

Of course critics rated most of the Summer movies low because they think we should go see a costume drama instead ?

  • Jason Bowman

I thought Warcraft was very entertaining. For a video game to movie it isn’t as bad as they say. It’s strange when ever we get something different it ranks so low. They been making the same five movies since the late 70s/early 80s which are Star Wars, Alien, Terminator, Predator, and Star Trek. I think the realm of science fiction and fantasy is so vast there has to be room for something new.

    • Jshadow

It has to do with “video game movie” bias and the fact that people have LotR for fantasy standard.

  • Jshadow

“Movie is bad because majority of critics declared it so”
Yeah well, look who’s sitting on 82% with audiance approval, deepsihts!

When it comes to new things critics will always be the 1st to jump on it because it’s not something THEY like, not are they willing to try and understand it.
    Bunch of upstart snobby twerps.

  • Brian Powers

The critics are horrible. This is why the oscars are so bad.
