This King of the Ice Nation eventually became Clarke’s ally when they realized they had a common enemy in A.L.I.E., and he saved Clarke’s life.
Unfortunately, Roan was then shot by Kane (he was under A.L.I.E.’s control) and was last seen being dragged off to who knows where. We do know he’s a part of Season 4, though — the trailer shows him talking about “ruling everything” with a power-hungry gleam in his eye, so something tells us he and Clarke are no longer going to be all buddy-buddy in season 4.
