Ned Zeman and Daniel Barnz are writing "Sam and George," a vehicle for Mel Gibson, Variety reports. The film will be produced for Paramount; it tells the story of two friends and their relationship after one spends 20 years wrongly imprisoned. Zeman and Barnz also wrote "Under and Alone" for Gibson to star and produce for Warner Bros.
