Watch the True Detective Season Two Trailer

True Detective returns for its second season on Sunday, June 21, which transports the spooky action from Louisana to a distant California. Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Vince Vaughn star as the main movers and shakers in a plot involving the disappearance of a city manager and subsequent disruption of a lucrative land deal. Check out the season two trailer below.

All eight episodes, which are set around Los Angeles and purportedly throughout the rest of California, are once again written by True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto, though directorial duties are handled by a new crew. Fast & Furious series’ Justin Lin, for example, is directing the first two episodes.
