The movie nuts from ComingSoon.net spent an afternoon browsing through the 2007 Toy Fair, and they came back with reports on some of the biggest and most highly-anticipated tentpoles of the year, including "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," "Spider-Man 3," and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End."
The "Pirates 3" report indicates that we’ll soon see a Pirates chess set, Monopoly board, dice game, and all sorts of action figures. Oooh, and a chess set. Cool!
At the "Spider-Man 3" display the CS crew got a gander at some Spidey and Venom "mini-busts" and (of course) more action figures.
The "Harry Potter" section includes plush toys, mugs, keychains, and (all together now) lots of action figures.
Regarding the "Star Wars" goodies, there was a lot to pick through: replica helmets (including Boba Fett’s!), light sabers, "diorama" sets, and (hooray!) more action figures!
Last but not least was the "Golden Compass" area, which offered models, replicas, plush toys and (you guessed it) a new line of action figures.
