At the European Premiere of "Be Cool" in London yesterday, The Rock told website FilmFocus that his upcoming role in the movie adaptation of the "Doom" videogame franchise would be "unapologetic."

"From ‘Doom‘ you can expect an unapologetic, Rated-R movie, that pulls no punches," he told FilmFocus, "and just like what the videogame was able to do in terms of its violence, but not violence for the sake of violence."

In the interview, the star went on to talk about the monster effects in the movie which will, he says, be created by Stan Winston’s practical FX team as well as his passion for DVD commentary.
