Seth Rogen on Green Hornet Workout and Kevin Smith's Draft

Getting in shape has never been easy for the lazy.

Seth Rogen is an
interesting choice to write The Green Hornet because he is a comedian. He’s an
even more interesting choice to play
The Green
Hornet
because, well, look at him. That’s been the joke of all of his
comedies. Rogen continues to take a humorous approach to a potential workout
regimen.

"[I wonder] If they still
have those things that they just electronically work out for you as you lay
there doing nothing," Rogen pondered. "They electronically stimulate your
muscles into working out so I can be lazy and athletic at the same time. Pay
someone to exercise me."

The Green Hornet
property was under
Kevin Smith’s
banner for a long time: the ultimate comic fanboy wrote a script but decided not
to direct it. Rogen will not take the opportunity to read Smith’s draft.

"I’m actually friends with
Kevin Smith and he said I probably could read it if I wanted. I don’t want to. I
have no interest right now in reading it I would say. At some point."

If he read it before, he
might fall in love with an awesome idea that Smith still owns. "Exactly. I’m
just afraid of that."
