Praise for Rotten Movies We Love

“Ironically I’m refusing to read this book until I know its Rotten Tomatoes score.
But I’m pretty sure I’ll love it!” – Jimmy Fallon, host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Rotten Movies We Love will shine a light on underrated movies you’ve never heard of and remind you of the movies that you loved in the theater, hated on the way home, but quoted for the next decade. Some of my favorite movies are in this book.” – Emily V. Gordon, co-writer of The Big Sick

Special Rotten Tomatoes Alamo Drafthouse screening series.

To celebrate the release of Rotten Movies We Love, Rotten Tomatoes is teaming up with Alamo Drafthouse for screenings of three films featured in the book: The Craft, The ‘Burbs, and The Holiday. A total of 27 screenings will take place between October 22 and December 1 in 12 cities across the U.S., including: Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Austin, Denver, Phoenix, San Antonio, Kansas City, Charlottesville, Raleigh, Springfield, Woodbury, and New Braunfels. Plus, Rotten Tomatoes’ editors will be making appearances at various screenings to introduce the films and offer their commentary.

Check out some pages from inside the book.

Each section is themed, with chapters celebrating everything from cult classics and movies so bad they’re good to underrated gems that were ahead of their time.

Sections feature detailed write-ups from Rotten Tomatoes editors outlining why these Rotten movies are worth checking out.

Sixteen of the world’s best and most insightful critics contribute essays on Rotten moves they love. Among them, Bilge Ebiri, who writes on Event Horizon.

The book also features infographics that use Rotten Tomatoes’ data to highlight Rotten trends and Rotten records.
