NOW Mel Wants to Do Another "Lethal Weapon"?

In a move that might be dismissed as "PR B.S." by many, Mel Gibson (allegedly) wants to head back to Riggsville and star in "Lethal Weapon 5" — despite his long-standing refusal to climb back into that particular character.

As we touched on in last Friday’s News Ketchup, Gibson’s recent public meltdown is rumored to be the catalyst for him even considering doing another "Lethal Weapon."

From Dark Horizons: "The ‘clean up Mel Gibson’s image’ roadshow continues this week with a report in The Daily Telegraph citing that Malibu’s favourite detainee is believed to be in discussions to join a revival of the "Lethal Weapon" film franchise.

The paper’s Sydney Confidential section cites industry insiders suggesting he is set to jump on board for "Lethal Weapon 5", which would be the final instalment of the franchise – "It wouldn’t hurt on the PR front to give fans another Lethal Weapon" one source said."

So movie fans, my question is this: Do you have any interest in seeing Mel Gibson star in yet another "Lethal Weapon" flick, or has this particular boat sailed out of the actor’s career forever?
