The latest movies, new Netflix series, and other new releases coming to the streaming giant this month include the return of lauded series including Israeli spy thriller Fauda, Anglo-Saxons vs. Vikings series The Last Kingdom, Ricky Gervais’ After Life, and Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020.

New Netflix original series and movies include #blackAF, a series inspired by Kenya Barris’ life that costars Rashida Jones; action film Extraction, starring Chris Hemsworth as a black-market mercenary; coming-of-age comedy Never Have I Ever from Mindy Kaling; Riverdale’s Camila Mendes in thriller Dangerous Lies; and Wagner Moura and Ana de Armas in political drama Sergio.

Netflix ramps up the funny with a series from Iliza Shlesinger, Chris D’Elia stand-up, and a three-part improv special starring Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz.

The Artist, The Death of Stalin, Django Unchained, Hail, Caesar!, The Matrix, Minority Report, Mud, The Social Network, and Taxi Driver are among the top former theatrical releases added to Netflix movies in April. In series 2, whilst still struggling with immense grief for his wife, we see Tony try to become a better friend to those around him. Each grappling with their own problems and only to be intensified by the looming threat of the local newspaper being shut down.
