The last day of the month always signals an exodus of offerings from streaming services, but the list of movies leaving Netflix in April 2020 is notable for its number of classics, ranging from The Shawshank Redemption to Blade Runner: The Final Cut to Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol.

The clock is ticking on Certified Fresh horror movies like Scream 2 and Rosemary’s Baby, which will change our list of the 50 Best Horror Movies on Netflix when we update it on May 1. Rosemary’s Baby currently cradles the top spot, and its departure will allow The Witch to be crowned the best-reviewed horror movie on Netflix, by Adjusted Tomatometer.

We’ve mentioned Blade Runner and Shawshank, but other beloved movies on our guide to the 250 Best Movies on Netflix that will be leaving at the end of April include GoodFellas, the original True Grit, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Meanwhile, in comedy, ’90s nostalgia will take a hit as Good Burger and Space Jam flee. Step Brothers is also leaving, so get your ass in gear if you want to make it to the f—ing Catalina Wine Mixer.
