British actor Jude Law insists that he was never offered the role of James Bond … but that he’d jump through hoops to play a Bond villain.
From Dark Horizons: "British thesp Jude Law has revealed to British film show "Film 2006" that, contrary to rumours, he was never offered the role of 007 in new film "Casino Royale" reports E-Canada Now.
In fact he insists he would have turned down the role anyway in favour of playing a villain "The Bond part never actually came my way. But then if I ever played James Bond that would rule out ever playing a baddie wouldn’t it, and I would love to play a Bond baddie".
