During a chat with Empire Online, Brett Ratner, the director of the "Rush Hour" films and "After the Sunset," revealed that his next film may be either "Josiah’s Cannon" or "Rush Hour 3." "You gotta have three or four projects and whichever one comes in first, or better, that’s the one you’re going to do," he says.
"Josiah’s Cannon" is a heist movie about a Holocaust survivor out to steal some ex-Nazi gold from a Swiss bank. Sean Connery was previously attached to star before dropping out of the project to work on his autobiography. Unless Ratner finds a replacement for Connery, he may have to move on to "Rush Hour 3" because the movie "seems to be coming together pretty fast." The third Rush Hour will take place in New York and Paris, he reveals. The "Rush Hour" movies are fish-out-of-water action comedies where two mismatched law enforcement officers, played by Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, team up to bring criminals to justice.
