Either Sarah Michelle Gellar ("The Grudge") and Charisma Carpenter ("What Boys Like") may be going from slaying vampires to flinging a lasso. According to Teenhollywood.com, the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" costars are in competition for the role of Wonder Woman after their former boss, Joss Whedon, took the directorial reins for the screen adaptation of the popular 1970s TV show. One insider told the site that while Gellar is Whedon’s first choice, the film’s producers may be leaning toward Carpenter because she is less well-known.
