Picture Gallery of the Week:
Sherlock Holmes

A premiere gallery! We haven’t done one of these in a while. Sherlock
Holmes
is opening this Friday to pretty good reviews, though I was
hoping to see this one go Certified Fresh.

Posters

Poster of the Week:

Frozen

As prices balloon and profits drop, we’re always looking for a low-budget
success story. Movies like District 9 and Paranormal Activity
that buck the trend, capturing the world’s attention but at minimal costs
(“cost” is a relative term, of course, with District 9 at a $30
million budget and Paranormal Activity less than a percent of that).
Frozen could be next in order, a small thriller about three skiers
stranded on snow-covered mountain. View the poster.

Videos of the Week:

Kick-Ass gallery

It’s been a good week for Kick-Ass anticipators: an exclusive clip
and a rambunctious red band trailer, both highlighting the movie’s femme
fatale scamp, Hit-Girl.
