Filmjerk Report: Final Destinations, Johnny Cash, and Beowulf

by | September 19, 2005 | Comments

FilmJerk.com chimes in with their weekly report on the newest release date changes, theater counts, and MPAA decisions. Will "Walk the Line" be rated R? When’s the next "Final Destination" movie coming out? And when will we be able to see the Neil Gaiman / Roger Avary / Robert Zemeckis rendition of "Beowulf"?

Answers:

"Beowulf (Paramount Pictures): Robert Zemeckis follows up "The Polar Express" with another motion-capture CG animated feature, this time adapting the epic Old English poem about a Scandinavian hero who saves the Danes from the indomitable monster Grendel, which will open in theatres on November 21, 2007

Cheating Death: Final Destination 3 (New Line Cinema): The hopefully last part of the series has been bumped up two weeks, from February 24 to February 10

Walk The Line (Twentieth Century Fox): PG-13 for some language, thematic material and depiction of drug dependency"

Of course FilmJerk’s Early Report contains a lot more goodies than the ones mentioned above, plus you’ll learn a little bit about movies called "Alpha Dog," "Running With Scissors," and "Attack of the Sabretooth."
