"A Scanner Darkly" producer Tommy Pallotta has a blog on the IGN FilmForce site. Pallotta, who also produced "Waking Life," has been instrumental in the use of the digital rotoscope style of those Richard Linklater-produced films.
"A Scanner Darkly," which hits theaters July 7, stars Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Robert Downey Jr., and Woody Harrelson. Based upon a Philip K. Dick novel, the film takes place in the near future, where paranoia reigns and people spy on their friends with startling frequency. Check out Pallotta’s blog here, and read IGN’s interview with Pallotta here.

The film recently screened at Cannes, and RT caught a sneak preview at the South by Southwest Festival in March (check out the review here). Richard Linklater‘s other Cannes film, "Fast Food Nation," will be released in the fall. Check out the RT review and the subsequent cast and director discussion.
