Universal has purchased an untitled romantic comedy pitch by Gina Wendkos that may be a vehicle for Jim Carrey and Angelina Jolie, Variety reports. Although neither star is attached to the project as of yet, both have expressed interest in working together, which was the impetus for the script purchase. Wendkos wrote the script for "Coyote Ugly" and the forthcoming "The Perfect Man."
