The first teaser trailer did a fine job of getting us pretty psyched up for "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," despite the fact that most of us didn’t exactly adore "Fantastic Four." Well, there’s a brand-new theatrical trailer…
…and although I’m still not yet sold on the whole "powers-switching" thing, I think it’s a pretty excellent trailer, chock full of flash, bang, and a whole lot of action — which, I’ll be honest, is all I really want from a "Fantastic Four" movie: Colorful characters and lots of action.
Apple Quicktime is where the goodies reside, and I recommend you watch the trailer with your headphones on and the volume jacked up. It gets pretty crazy towards the end. And that final shot of the Surfer doin’ his thing … pretty damn nifty.
Tim Story‘s "FF2" opens on June 15th.
