A First Glance at Narnia

by | December 1, 2004 | Comments

Director Andrew Adamson is in the process of filming "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" in New Zealand, and creating the world of Narnia has thus far been an impressive feat, according to Glen Butcher of Comingsoon.net. Overseen by veteran production designer Roger Ford, the more than 30 sets on location include the Ice Queen’s courtyard, the stone table, and the large tracts of forest that comprise the world of Narnia. The film, based upon the classic children’s books by C.S. Lewis, is slated for release in 2005. It will star Tilda Swinton and Rupert Everett, among others.
